About the role
This temporary position involves joining a dedicated road‑sweeping team to keep streets clean during weekends. You will operate a 3.5‑tonne van, sweep footpaths and collect litter, ensuring a tidy public environment.
Key responsibilities
- Sweep and clean pedestrian footpaths across the borough.
- Bag and collect bins at bus stops.
- Drive a 3.5‑tonne van safely within the designated area.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
- Reliable, punctual and able to start immediately.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Must hold a valid driving licence suitable for a 3.5‑tonne vehicle.

What we offer
- Hourly rate of £13.50 – £14.00.
