Weekend Road Sweeping Driver (Must Drive)

About the role

This temporary position involves joining a dedicated road‑sweeping team to keep streets clean during weekends. You will operate a 3.5‑tonne van, sweep footpaths and collect litter, ensuring a tidy public environment.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep and clean pedestrian footpaths across the borough.
• Bag and collect bins at bus stops.
• Drive a 3.5‑tonne van safely within the designated area.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and able to start immediately.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• Must hold a valid driving licence suitable for a 3.5‑tonne vehicle.

What we offer
