Wellness Service Operational Manager

About the role

The Integrated Wellness Service in Kirklees is seeking an Operational Manager to lead the Dewsbury locality. You will provide operational leadership, manage performance, and support the development of community‑focused health improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the wellness service team in Dewsbury.
• Develop and implement performance metrics and quality standards.
• Collaborate with elected members, senior officers, partner agencies, and community leaders to embed the Kirklees Integrated Wellness Model.
• Lead service development projects and promote innovative, preventive health approaches.
• Support team development, coaching, and capacity building.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or substantial experience in health, social care, education, or community wellbeing.
• Proven experience in operational leadership and team management.
• Ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Commitment to a strengths‑based, preventive health philosophy.
