Wills and Probate Chartered Legal Executive (Private Client Supervision)

About the role

We are seeking a Wills and Probate Chartered Legal Executive to lead private‑client supervision within our estate‑planning team. The role focuses on quality assurance of wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney without billable targets, offering a balanced work‑life environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced solicitors and technical professionals to progress client files.
• Review and ensure the legal and technical accuracy of wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Provide feedback and recommend changes to meet clients’ estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise closely with the estate‑planning team, offering technical support and guidance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning with solid wills‑writing experience.
• Experience in tax planning related to lifetime estate planning.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
