Wills & Probate Legal Counsel (Remote/Flexible)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Wills and Probate Legal Counsel to join our estate planning team. The role offers flexible working arrangements, either fully remote or on‑site at our London office, with no billable targets. You will ensure that wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney are drafted accurately and comply with client instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and quality‑assure wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney for legal and technical accuracy.
• Provide feedback and technical support to colleagues throughout case progression.
• Collaborate with the estate planning team to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support ad‑hoc client queries and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning and wills drafting.
• Experience with tax planning related to lifetime estate matters.
• High attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
