Wind Turbine Technician – EWT

About the role

We are expanding our fleet of wind turbines in the UK and need a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to enhance our EWT platform expertise. You will work hands‑on with turbines, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support the team in achieving high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Analyse data with remote support to improve turbine performance.
• Mentor fellow technicians and share knowledge on turbine-specific issues.
• Travel to multiple sites across the UK and, when required, internationally.

Required profile

• Enjoy solving problems and improving turbine performance.
• Strong communication and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to participate in a weekend on‑call rota.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

Required skills

• Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification (or equivalent wind‑industry experience).
• Proven wind turbine troubleshooting experience.
• Experience resolving issues identified during walk‑downs.
