About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 4 Primary Teacher to join our school in Swindon. The successful candidate will inspire young learners, deliver the national curriculum and contribute to a vibrant school community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons for Year 4 pupils.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow staff to ensure a cohesive approach to learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings and school events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Clean DBS check.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and a supportive teaching style.
Required skills

- Expertise in delivering the Year 4 curriculum.
