About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Croydon. The role is full‑time on a temporary contract running from September 2026 to July 2027, with the possibility of extension or permanent placement based on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver KS1/KS2 lessons for Year 4.
- Mark assessments, record progress and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
- Organise and attend parents’ evenings and staff meetings.
- Maintain classroom discipline and uphold safeguarding standards.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS registered with the online update service.
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
