About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 5 Class Teacher for a Good‑rated primary school in West London. The role is full‑time and temporary, covering the academic year from September 2026 to July 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver Year 5 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Mark assessments, provide feedback and maintain accurate pupil records.
- Organise and attend parent evenings and other school events.
- Work 8:30 am‑4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, term‑time only.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
