About the role
An inspiring primary school in Brent is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to start in September 2026. The successful candidate will join a three‑form entry school and may take on additional leadership responsibilities such as Lead Teacher, Maths Lead or Phase Leader.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess the Year 6 curriculum across core subjects.
- Provide high‑quality teaching that supports the school's Outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Take on extra duties linked to the chosen TLR (e.g., lead teaching, maths coordination, phase leadership).
- Contribute to CPD sessions and share best practice within the federation.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and communicate with parents as needed.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching Year 6 in a primary setting.
- Strong academic background and ambition to develop as a leader.
- Personable, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement.
