About the role

We are looking for a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Margate. The successful candidate will guide pupils through their final year of primary education and prepare them for the transition to secondary school.

Key responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality upper KS2 lessons.
Prepare pupils for SATs and secondary transition.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong experience teaching upper KS2.
Solid knowledge of SATs preparation.
Effective classroom and behaviour management.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
Right to work in the UK.
