About the role
We are looking for a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Margate. The successful candidate will guide pupils through their final year of primary education and prepare them for the transition to secondary school.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality upper KS2 lessons.
- Prepare pupils for SATs and secondary transition.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong experience teaching upper KS2.
- Solid knowledge of SATs preparation.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
