Youth & Inclusion Worker

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Youth & Inclusion Worker to join our Health & Wellbeing team at two women’s prisons in South East England. Working full‑time (35 hours per week), you will support young adult women (aged 18‑25) to build healthier futures through tailored interventions and inclusive services.
Key responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with young adults through outreach and engagement.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and group interventions, including the Change Up programme.
- Manage a caseload, complete assessments, care plans and release planning.
- Lead service‑user forums to ensure LGBTQ+ voices shape services.
- Champion Equality, Diversity & Inclusion through events and staff support.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and partner agencies to provide person‑centred care.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to safe, high‑quality service delivery.
Required profile
- Experience supporting people with substance misuse, mental health or complex needs.
- Passion for engaging young adults and promoting inclusive practice.
- Confidence delivering both individual and group interventions.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship‑building abilities.
- Collaborative, compassionate and solution‑focused approach.
