12 Month Internship - Leveraged Finance

About the role

This 12‑month internship offers graduates a fast‑track entry into leveraged finance within a leading global bank. You will work on large‑cap transactions, gain exposure to corporate and private‑equity clients, and develop a solid understanding of credit analysis, financial modelling and deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and credit analysis to evaluate potential leveraged finance issuers.
• Assist in preparing pitch books and marketing materials for private‑equity and corporate clients.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support transaction decisions.
• Collaborate with the legal team on confidentiality agreements and draft business summaries.
• Handle KYC onboarding, data entry and monitoring using internal tools.
• Support portfolio management by tracking trading developments, processing waiver requests and drafting credit applications.
• Provide cross‑functional support to senior managers and liaise with various business teams.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s) with strong numeracy and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and comfortable meeting deadlines.
• Interest in financial markets and leveraged finance.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
