2nd Line IT Support Engineer

About the role

Join a leading IT Managed Services Provider as a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, delivering expert support to high‑profile clients across the UK. You will work closely with the 1st line helpdesk, handling escalated tickets and providing remote assistance via phone, email and a ticketing system.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to escalated support requests raised by the 1st line helpdesk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
• Provide remote support to customers and ensure timely resolution of tickets.
• Maintain accurate records in the ticket management system.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement hybrid cloud, cybersecurity and infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support, preferably at 2nd line level.
• Background working with Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
• Ability to commute to Yateley/Camberley (South East England).
