3.5T Driver – High‑End Interior Design Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a reliable 3.5‑tonne driver to support a high‑end interior design client in London and the wider UK. The role involves daily multi‑drop runs, careful handling of valuable items and regular interaction with clients and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute multi‑drop routes across London, the UK and occasional EU trips, respecting site booking windows and traffic restrictions.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑journey vehicle checks, report defects and keep the van clean and stocked.
• Load and secure items using blankets, edge guards, foam, shrink wrap and straps to a white‑glove standard.
• Communicate ETA’s, liaise with concierges or contractors and resolve access or parking issues.
• Capture proof of delivery, site photos and notes to maintain a clear job trail.
• Manage tools, consumables and van kit, reporting any shortages.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence for vehicles up to 3.5 t.
• Confident driver in London – familiar with bus lanes, loading bays and parking rules.
• Strong manual‑handling ability and teamwork mindset.
• Clear, friendly communication with clients and site personnel.

Required skills

• Basic smartphone navigation apps (maps, photo capture, job‑specific apps).
