7.5T Driver – Temp-to-Perm, Tonbridge

About the role

We are seeking an experienced 7.5 tonne driver for a temp‑to‑perm position based in Tonbridge. The role involves physically demanding loading and unloading of heavy goods and delivering multi‑drop consignments across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 7.5T vehicle safely and efficiently on scheduled routes.
• Load, unload and secure heavy goods using manual handling techniques.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries to various locations, adapting to route changes.
• Stay overnight up to three nights per week, with a nightly allowance provided.

Required profile

• Minimum six months’ experience driving a 7.5T vehicle.
• Valid Driver CPC (DCPC) licence.
• Age 25 or over for insurance purposes.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Flexible to undertake overnight stays when required.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.24, rising to £16.70 after 45 hours.
