Academy Scouting Representative (Part‑time)

About the role

Brighton & Hove Albion FC is seeking a passionate Academy Scouting Representative to join its national recruitment network. Working part‑time in the evenings and weekends, you will help identify the next generation of football talent across West Sussex and occasionally at the club’s performance centre in Lancing.

Key responsibilities

• Scout local matches and training sessions within the assigned West Sussex region.
• Attend the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre when required.
• Maintain accurate records of identified players using the club’s scouting database.
• Produce detailed reports on player potential and suitability for the academy.
• Collaborate with the wider scouting team to share insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in football scouting or youth football development.
• Strong network within the local football community.
• Good understanding of player recruitment regulations and youth development pathways.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern scouting databases and digital reporting tools.
