Account Administrator

About the role

The Account Administrator will support the day‑to‑day financial operations of an internationally focused membership organisation. Working within a small, collaborative accounts team, you will ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments and receipts while providing high‑quality customer service to members and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post invoices, manual payments and receipts across cash, bank and credit‑card transactions.
• Process purchase invoices, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
• Maintain invoice, payment and account inboxes and respond to queries.
• Carry out daily bank balance checks, upload payments for approval and investigate unusual activity.
• Perform bank, cash‑book and ledger reconciliations (debtor, supplier, employee, petty cash).
• Use CRM systems to manage invoices, credit notes, payments and refunds, and reconcile balances with accounting records.
• Provide finance‑related support for conferences and liaise with non‑finance departments.

Required profile

• Organised, detail‑oriented finance professional.
• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for handling internal and external queries.
• Experience working in a collaborative, multi‑department environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with banking and e‑commerce transaction processing.
