Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading UK tax, audit and accounting firm, is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. The role offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days remote, flexible core hours and clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of corporate tax clients across multiple industries, ensuring high‑quality compliance and advisory delivery.
• Review corporation tax returns, calculations and disclosures before submission.
• Take final responsibility for technically complex tax assignments.
• Provide strategic advice on tax‑efficient structures, group reorganisations and transaction planning.
• Support clients through HMRC enquiries, correspondence and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with audit, accounts and advisory teams to deliver integrated services.
• Develop strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day tax matters.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to new client acquisition.
• Drive continuous improvement within the tax team by enhancing processes and service delivery.
• Manage, mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their professional growth.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience managing corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and work collaboratively across service lines.
