Account Director – Digital Strategy

About the role

Equimedia, a digital performance agency, is looking for an Account Director to act as the senior client contact. You will lead the development and planning of digital strategies, oversee campaign execution, and build strong, profitable client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Grow existing client accounts and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Develop proactive, positive relationships with all clients.
• Lead account strategy, planning and forecasting (short, medium and long term).
• Analyse results data, generate insights and spot opportunities for clients and the agency.
• Monitor service delivery quality, campaign planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with internal finance controls and other processes.
• Stay up‑to‑date with digital media trends and conduct research on client markets.
• Contribute to agency content, case studies and social‑media strategy.
• Support new‑business meetings and participate in pitches.
• Assist in developing the skills and expertise of junior team members when required.

Required profile

• Experienced digital marketer with a proven track record of growing client accounts.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with data and extracting actionable insights.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and a collaborative, integrity‑driven approach.
• Commercially minded with the ability to manage budgeting, forecasting and profitability.
• Hands‑on, well‑organised and efficient in managing all aspects of client relationships.
