Account Executive, Mid-Market Spend

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses worldwide, is hiring an Account Executive for its Mid-Market team in London. You will help ambitious businesses solve complex cross-border financial challenges by bringing Airwallex's global financial platform to more customers. You will work from the London office three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and territory planning through negotiation and close.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and understand their business needs.
• Partner across teams to shape solutions spanning spend management and related products.
• Manage your pipeline carefully and deliver accurate forecasting through disciplined CRM usage.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in outbound business development and 1+ year in a closing sales role.
• Experience selling a spend management tool or similar financial technology product.
• Track record of strong sales performance and meeting targets.
• Experience owning a full sales cycle, from prospecting through close.
• Ability to understand complex customer requirements and craft solutions across multiple products.
• Experience developing and executing territory plans.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to represent Airwallex at client meetings and events, with some travel required.
