Account Executive – Wolverhampton

About the role

We are seeking an Account Executive to act as the commercial bridge between our technical experts and a growing client portfolio. Based in Wolverhampton (or remotely) you will manage accounts, develop new business and support the delivery of environmental field services across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned account portfolio, handling queries and liaising between clients and operational teams.
• Maximise sales opportunities within existing accounts, develop prospects and upsell services to increase profitability.
• Generate accurate quotes and contribute to high‑value tender processes.
• Coordinate with the Technical Services Team to deliver reports and data validations to clients and resolve follow‑up queries.
• Identify key stakeholders, communicate service capabilities and future value‑add propositions.
• Schedule and attend regular face‑to‑face client meetings nationwide, ensuring work is captured, chargeable and invoiced.

Required profile

• Proven experience in client, account or liaison management.
• Proactive, problem‑solving attitude with confidence to challenge the status quo.
• Strong enthusiasm for speaking to existing and prospective clients and collaborating across departments.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Practical experience of environmental field work providing technical knowledge of services.
• Relevant degree or professional environmental/commercial qualification (desirable).
