Account Handler / Account Executive – Commercial Insurance

About the role

This client‑focused position sits within a national brokerage and is based in the East Sussex branch. You will support a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, working closely with Account Executives in a collaborative, well‑resourced team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Account Executives in servicing commercial insurance clients.
• Handle renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business processing.
• Prepare documentation, presentations and insurer submissions.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive cover.
• Respond promptly to client queries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience as a Commercial Account Handler or in a similar broking role.
• Good working knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communicator.
• CII certification desirable (not essential).
