About the role
We are looking for an Account Handler to join a well‑established independent insurance broker in the North West. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and building long‑term relationships with personal lines clients in a relaxed, team‑oriented environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of personal lines clients.
- Handle renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business enquiries.
- Provide tailored quotations and advice across home, motor and travel insurance.
- Build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure FCA compliance.
Required profile
- Experience within personal lines insurance.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Customer‑focused and detail‑oriented.
- Enjoy working as part of a close‑knit, supportive team.
Required skills

- Salary up to £32,000 DOE.
