Account Manager – Customer Relationship & Sales

About the role

This full‑time, permanent position is based on the outskirts of Cambridge and offers the chance to join a friendly, growing business. You will manage and develop B2B customer relationships while supporting overall sales activity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard customer service and build long‑term client relationships.
• Keep customers informed about promotions, new products and company updates.
• Proactively engage with clients to drive sales and strengthen relationships.
• Handle enquiries quickly and accurately, managing expectations professionally.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Process orders, manage payments and maintain accurate records in internal systems.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Previous B2B sales or account‑management experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
