Account Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

Join a growing food manufacturing business as an Account Manager and become the primary link between customers and internal teams. You will ensure projects stay on track, communication is proactive, and customers receive exceptional service from order through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and account management.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and review meetings.
• Coordinate customer projects across Commercial, Planning, Production, Procurement, Quality and Logistics.
• Provide accurate updates on orders, timelines and project progress, managing expectations.
• Monitor risks, handle escalations and work with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support Sales and Account Managers to deliver a consistent customer experience.
• Relay customer forecasts and scheduling requirements to aid production planning.
• Assist with quotations, pricing activities and new product development projects.
• Track customer KPIs, account performance and service levels, identifying improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in account management, customer service or a similar commercial role.
• Background in food manufacturing, FMCG or a comparable manufacturing environment.
