Account Manager – Hybrid (6‑month contract)

About the role

This is a six‑month contract position, with the potential to become permanent, based in Great Tey and offering a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two days remote). You will manage inbound enquiries, nurture existing customer relationships and actively pursue new sales opportunities for an established national service provider.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries and provide tailored solutions.
• Make proactive outbound calls to develop new and existing accounts.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and account value.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information within the CRM.
• Collaborate with operational teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, account management or a similar customer‑focused role.
• Confidence handling both inbound enquiries and outbound sales activity.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially minded, proactive and motivated by achieving results.
• Ability to solve problems and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in transport, logistics or another operational service industry is advantageous.
