Account Manager – Maritime Technology Sales

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a leading maritime technology business. You will be responsible for managing strategic accounts across the UK and occasionally overseas, driving growth and delivering tailored solutions to shipyards, yacht management firms and other maritime stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a portfolio of key maritime accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals to senior and board‑level audiences.
• Collaborate with technical, delivery and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences and meetings, with occasional overseas travel.
• Keep the CRM up‑to‑date and manage a healthy sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the marine technology sector, particularly bridge and navigation solutions.
• Self‑motivated hunter with a resilient, commercially driven mindset.
• Strong relationship‑building abilities and confidence presenting at senior level.
• Disciplined approach to pipeline and CRM management.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad as needed.
