Account Manager – Mid‑Tier Customer Portfolio

About the role

The Account Manager will own the relationship with our mid‑tier eCommerce and logistics customers across the Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire area. You will act as the primary point of contact, driving retention, upselling and cross‑selling while travelling to meet clients on site. The role combines consultative selling with close internal collaboration to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of mid‑tier customers, acting as their main liaison.
• Coordinate with Customer Services, Operations, Pricing, Accounts and IT to improve the overall customer experience.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts through upselling and cross‑selling.
• Conduct regular business review meetings and present product/service updates to key stakeholders.
• Ensure customers adhere to payment terms and monitor account profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of consultative selling experience at board level.
• Proven track record in account management within a sales or logistics environment.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
