Account Manager – Permanent – Gateshead

About the role

We are looking for a people‑focused Account Manager to join a well‑established global organisation in Gateshead. The role centres on nurturing long‑term relationships with existing customers, delivering exceptional service and supporting regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage and grow allocated existing customer accounts.
• Handle the full sales pipeline via CRM – from lead generation to negotiation, quotation and close.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the current customer base.
• Support the Head of Sales – IMEA in driving regional growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide excellent service and technical support.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building and customer‑care orientation.
• Experience in account management or sales within a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Required skills

• CRM software (experience managing pipelines and quotations).

What we offer

• Salary £27,000‑£29,000 per year (DOE) plus quarterly and profit‑share bonuses.
• 36‑hour working week with flexible start/finish times and early Friday finish.
