Accountant – Newly or Part Qualified (Hybrid, Belfast)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position supports operational and commercial teams by delivering financial analysis, cost management and performance reporting. Working in a hybrid model from Belfast, you will use data and KPI insights to identify savings, improve efficiency and inform business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Measure costs and provide analysis to business operations, understanding key cost drivers.
• Track monthly contractor spend and assist the commercial team with payment approvals.
• Analyse monthly performance against budget and business plan, investigating variances.
• Provide accurate financial information to stakeholders to support decision‑making.
• Drive performance through KPI monitoring and data analysis.
• Identify savings opportunities and add value with key stakeholders.
• Ensure CAPEX aligns with organisational growth and challenge budget holders on cost management.
• Support process improvements and organisational growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in a fast‑paced finance role with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
