Accountant – UK Finance Function

About the role
Join Hatch's Shared Services group as an Accountant supporting the UK finance function. You will work within a global organisation that values safety, innovation and sustainability, helping project teams improve cash‑flow and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Post day‑to‑day accounting entries in SAP.
- Perform account reconciliations and monitor receivables.
- Support audit queries and statutory reporting.
- Prepare VAT tax returns and ensure compliance with UK VAT regulations.
- Assist with project accounting analysis and cash‑flow improvement.
- Provide hands‑on support to the Finance Manager.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 5–10 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of UK VAT and accounting standards.
- Fluent English with a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- SAP accounting system.
