Accounting & Finance Expert – Remote AI Training Contractor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to help train AI systems on financial workflows. The role is fully remote, contract‑based and flexible, allowing you to work 10–40 hours per week on your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated content on US GAAP and IFRS for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate AI outputs related to financial reporting, statement preparation and regulatory compliance.
• Assess AI‑produced financial models—including DCFs, valuations and Excel‑based models—for correctness and real‑world applicability.
• Identify errors, misstatements and gaps in AI‑generated accounting guidance.
• Provide detailed, structured feedback to improve AI understanding of finance concepts.
• Create sample journal entries, financial scenarios and workflow examples for AI training.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with hands‑on experience in financial workflows.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS and practical application in reporting and period‑end close.
• Experience with financial statement preparation, general ledger management and financial modeling.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Excel (including advanced modeling and VBA).
• Financial modeling techniques such as DCF and comparable company analysis.
• ERP systems – SAP, Oracle, NetSuite.
• Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
