Accounting Software Account Manager

About the role
The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of clients for a UK‑based accounting software provider. You will act as the primary contact, delivering onboarding, training and supporting the full sales cycle to ensure client satisfaction and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients as the main point of contact
- Deliver onboarding, training sessions and tailored product demonstrations
- Drive renewals, upselling and cross‑selling opportunities
- Support the full sales cycle, including proposals and negotiations
- Maintain CRM records, pipeline forecasts and revenue targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high client satisfaction
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Experience in account management, sales or client‑facing roles
- Commercially driven with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, including client visits
