About the role
Join a growing finance team in Basingstoke as an Accounts Assistant. You will support day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments and reconciliations. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development.
Key responsibilities
- Process purchase and sales invoices
- Prepare supplier payment runs
- Process employee expenses
- Assist with aged debt and perform credit control duties
- Allocate customer receipts and payments
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Support month‑end duties such as journals and reconciliations
Required profile
- Previous experience working in a busy finance department
- Confident user of IT systems, including Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to manage and prioritise deadlines
