Accounts Assistant Manager – Film, TV & Media Clients

About the role

We are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts Assistant Manager to join a fast‑growing West End practice that serves high‑profile media, entertainment, theatre, film and TV clients. The role combines statutory account work, tax compliance and advisory tasks while offering a clear path to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mixed portfolio of corporate and high‑net‑worth individual clients.
• Prepare and review complex statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Compile corporation tax returns and review VAT returns.
• Liaise directly with clients, providing strategic advice to improve their businesses.
• Oversee and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and ensuring quality.
• Contribute to advisory projects and support new‑business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with at least one year post‑qualification experience.
• Current experience at Accounts Senior or Assistant Manager level within a UK practice.
• Strong interest in the creative, media and film/TV sectors.
• Aim to progress to a full Manager role in the near future.
