Accounts Assistant – Part-time (Liphook)

About the role

We are looking for an organised Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team in Liphook on a part-time, temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role offers flexible Monday‑Thursday hours, ideal for a finance professional balancing work and personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and supplier payments.
• Manage sales ledger administration and support credit control.
• Carry out bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end finance activities and maintain accurate records.
• Process staff expenses and resolve supplier and customer queries.
• Provide general support to the finance team as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar role.
• Knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
