Accounts & Audit Manager – Senior Manager

About the role

This newly created position offers a blend of accounts and audit responsibilities within a respected independent firm. You will work directly with the Partners, gaining exposure to a diverse client portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses across Surrey and London.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the primary point of contact.
• Review statutory accounts and ensure compliance work is completed accurately.
• Lead and review audit assignments, tailoring the audit component to client needs.
• Support advisory and business planning projects for growing businesses.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate closely with Partners on technical and strategic matters.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, SAICA, ICAS or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in UK accountancy practice with a strong audit background.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality audit and accounting work.
