Accounts & Audit Semi‑Senior – Poole

About the role

TPF Recruitment is representing a growing chartered accountancy firm in Poole. The Accounts & Audit Semi‑Senior will work primarily on accounts and general practice work, with a small amount of audit exposure, offering a balanced development path for an ambitious professional.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Complete VAT returns and conduct bookkeeping reviews where required.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide day‑to‑day support.
• Assist with a limited number of audit assignments and fieldwork.
• Support senior team members with ad‑hoc assignments and client projects.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Studying towards, or qualified in, AAT, ACA or ACCA (or qualified by experience).
• Experience preparing accounts for a variety of clients.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and positive approach to learning and professional development.
