Accounts & Business Services Senior (Practice)

About the role

We are recruiting an Accounts & Business Services Senior (Practice) for a leading independent chartered accountancy firm in Guildford. The role sits within a growing Accounts and Business Advisory team and focuses on delivering complex statutory accounts and developing a new service line for audit clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105
• Support the preparation of group accounts and consolidations
• Work with the Manager to design processes for the new Business Services function
• Mentor and train junior colleagues as the team expands
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure high‑quality delivery and build strong relationships

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification
• Strong experience in accountancy practice, preferably in Accounts & Business Advisory or Audit
• Confident preparing and reviewing medium‑sized FRS102 accounts
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior staff
