Accounts Payable Administrator (12 Weeks Temporary)

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join its Finance Department at its Hethel plant in Norfolk. This is a temporary role lasting up to 12 weeks with an ASAP start date, paid through a supporting recruitment agency at £13.91 per hour. The position is hybrid, based on site in Hethel at least 3 days per week, and candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process supplier invoices within agreed timelines
• Process invoices and handle VAT administration
• Data entry and maintain accurate data in the finance system
• Investigate and resolve supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
• Reconcile supplier statements to ledger balances and perform reconciliations and error checks on control accounts and intercompany balances
• Distribute supplier correspondence and ensure documentation is properly filed
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes and approval issues
• Raise and manage supplier debit notes and cancellations
• Prepare supplier payment runs and post to the cash book
• Identify process improvements and provide feedback and training to relevant teams

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proactive, organised and able to take ownership of work
• Minimum of GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
