Finance Controller FP&A

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is seeking a Finance Controller FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management across the group. Working with Executive and Senior Leadership teams, the role turns business performance into financial insights and supports commercial decisions. It is based at the Hethel plant under a flexible working policy, with three days per week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic financial forecasting across the group.
• Develop and maintain integrated financial planning models covering volumes, revenue, pricing, product profitability, manufacturing costs, operating expenditure, capital investment and headcount.
• Ensure forecasts reflect current business assumptions and strategic priorities, and coordinate inputs from Finance Business Partners and functional teams.
• Provide scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis on volumes, pricing, costs and investment.
• Produce monthly management accounts, including detailed profit and loss analysis and full balance sheet reconciliations.
• Work with cost centre owners on KPIs and improve financial processes, reporting and forecasting.
• Share financial insight, risks and opportunities with senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Experience improving financial processes and reporting.
• Desirable: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification; experience in manufacturing, engineering or automotive; SAP experience.
• Eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

• Financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Cost accounting, financial controls, risk analysis and financial performance management.
• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
