Accounts Payable Clerk – Hybrid (4 days office/1 day home)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a busy international finance team. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, managing supplier accounts across multiple regions while ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.

Key responsibilities

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately using an ERP system
• Verify approvals, goods receipts and supporting documentation
• Ensure correct VAT treatment and compliance with company procedures
• Manage supplier accounts and resolve invoice queries efficiently
• Investigate blocked invoices and supplier credit notes
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support weekly payment runs and monitor overdue balances
• Prepare month‑end journals and balance‑sheet reconciliations
• Produce reports including cash forecasts and GRNI reconciliations
• Liaise with Procurement, Finance and operational teams to resolve issues
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Accounts Payable processes
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Good knowledge of VAT and invoice processing requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
