About the role
This highly regarded chartered accountant firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Semi‑Senior / Senior to join its friendly, professional team in Southampton. You will be involved in all aspects of accounts preparation for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare full sets of accounts for clients, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Manage bookkeeping tasks and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Liaise with clients to gather information and clarify accounting queries.
- Support senior accountants with compliance and reporting duties.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ practice experience in an accountancy firm.
- Based locally in Southampton or willing to commute.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor.
