Accounts Senior – Accounting & Tax Advisory

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Senior to join a supportive, growing firm of accountants. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base, including SMEs, high‑net‑worth individuals and multinational corporations, with a focus on delivering high‑quality accountancy and tax advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Produce corporation tax computations and returns.
• Handle daily bookkeeping and file monthly/quarterly VAT returns across all VAT schemes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure work completion.
• Support the development and training of junior team members.
• Deliver excellent client service and undertake ad‑hoc tasks for managers.

Required profile

• AAT qualified and at least part‑qualified ACCA or ACA.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a UK practice.
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Ability to develop client relationships and work under tight deadlines.
