Accounts & Tax Senior – Practice Role

About the role

We are seeking a modern, commercially‑minded Accounts & Tax Senior to join a long‑established independent accountancy firm in East Kent. The role offers a varied mix of accounts, outsourcing, management accounts, payroll and tax work, providing genuine client exposure and the chance to build strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review a broad range of accounting and management accounts for diverse clients.
• Deliver payroll and tax services, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Provide outsourcing support and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for added value.
• Contribute to the growth of the practice with a view to future leadership responsibilities.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with several years of experience in practice.
• Commercially minded and comfortable working across accounts, payroll and tax.
• Local candidate with a valid driving licence.
• Confident communicator able to build trusted client relationships.
• Aspiring to progress into a leadership role within a small firm.
