Acoustic Consultant – £32,000 to £37,000 (London)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Acoustic Consultant to join a respected acoustic consultancy in London. Working alongside the acoustics lead, you will develop your expertise across residential, commercial, education and healthcare projects while receiving comprehensive training and mentoring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with environmental noise and building acoustics assessments.
• Support acoustic modelling using CadnaA, ODEON or SoundPLAN.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and acoustic measurements.
• Prepare technical reports under senior guidance.
• Collaborate with the project team to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics or related discipline.
• Strong interest in building acoustics and environmental noise.
• Familiarity with standards such as BB93, BS8233 or Approved Document E (advantageous).
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
