Actions Against Police Solicitor – Liverpool

About the role
We are seeking an experienced solicitor to join our dedicated Actions Against the Police team in Liverpool. You will manage a varied caseload of police‑related matters, from wrongful arrest to human‑rights breaches, and see each file through to conclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Handle police misconduct cases including wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, unlawful detention and human‑rights violations.
- Manage a full litigation lifecycle, from client instruction to court resolution.
- Maintain direct, face‑to‑face client contact and provide clear legal advice.
- Work collaboratively with senior team members while operating independently on assigned files.
- Balance office presence in Liverpool with two days of remote work each week.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in police‑related litigation.
- Ambitious, driven and able to manage a demanding caseload autonomously.
- Strong client‑interaction skills and a commitment to delivering high‑quality legal outcomes.
