Administrator – Logistics & Fleet Coordination

About the role

Join a financially secure industry leader as an Administrator supporting logistics, driver coordination and fleet planning. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, acting as the key point of contact for customers and drivers while ensuring smooth order processing and route optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule orders using the in‑house system and manage inventory levels.
• Process customer orders against forecast usage, confirming stock availability.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and drivers, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Maintain the accuracy of the internal database for customer orders.
• Plan company fleet routes with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Monitor transport progress, advise clients at agreed milestones and ensure schedules are met.
• Coordinate with the Goods‑In team to receive correct quantities of ordered materials.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and previous order‑management experience.
• Background in logistics, transport or fleet management.
• Full UK driver’s licence (essential) due to travel requirements.
• Ability to manage time independently and use initiative.
• Flexible nature and a strong work ethic.
